Worship Experience – March 15, 2026 | The Sin I’m In: Part 3
Title: The Sin I’m In: Part 2 - Shall We Continue?
Synopsis: First week we talked about what sin is. Last week was about what sin does. This week is about how we should live through sin. We tend to think that because of grace, we can just keep on sinning it up. But we have work to do. And we have choices to make. Should we continue in this? How about we ask God for the answer? How about we ask ourselves?
Scripture: Romans 6: 1-4 (NKJV)
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Message Points:
1️⃣ We have to understand, this is a rhetorical question.
2️⃣ Stop settling for anything less than God's best.
3️⃣ We gotta stop testing God.
4️⃣ We have to tell sin, “I’m Over It”
5️⃣ Be more concerned with changing than keep you own self image that is not best for you.
6️⃣ What if you and I continually asked God the question, shall I continue?
7️⃣ What if I continually asked myself shall I continue?
Closing Charge:
Grace is not permission to remain the same. Grace is the invitation to live differently. When Paul asks, “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?” the answer is clear: certainly not. Through Christ we have been given the opportunity to walk in newness of life. This week, pause before every decision and ask the question: Shall I continue? Choose growth over comfort. Choose obedience over habit. And remember, God’s grace does not excuse our transformation—it empowers it.
